Bawds
Bawds is an acting group formed in 1981, typically producing two or three plays a year in the ADC Theatre (at the end of each University term). The company regularly enters plays in local Drama Festivals, and has even been spotted taking the odd play to the Edinburgh Fringe.
Cambridge Handel Opera Company
Cambridge Ice Skating Club
The Cambridge Ice Skating Club is a non-profit community sports club based at the Better Cambridge Ice Arena, and affiliated with British Ice Skating. It was established in March 2022, out of the passion of local patch-ice regulars and coaches for starting a Synchronised Skating programme in Cambridge for the first time. In June 2023, it became the first ice skating club in the UK to host all skating disciplines recognised by British Ice Skating. Today, it hosts over 200 members across Synchro, Ice Dance, Free and (Short Track) Speed Skating, and our community continues to grow.
Cambridge Operatic Society
Cambridge Operatic Society (CaOS) is Cambridge's oldest amateur drama group, having been formed in 1910. The group performs one musical production a year just before Christmas, under a professional director. Most of its productions have been Gilbert & Sullivan shows, but it has occasionally branched out into other musical theatre forms in recent times.
Cambridge Theatre Company
Cambridge Theatre Company was established in late 2015 to produce musicals and plays in Cambridgreshire.
Combined Actors of Cambridge
Combined Actors of Cambridge was founded in 1965, and produces two or three plays each year (one at the end of each University term), mainly at the ADC Theatre.
Corkscrew Theatre Company
Festival Players
Festival Players was formed in 1973, and typically produces one major musical a year around the start of June. The company sometimes produces a smaller scale show (either a play or a musical) in autumn.
Fledgling Productions
Fledgling Productions was formed in 2003, and produces two musicals a year. One of these is a children's show, normally in the first week of January. The other is for adults, and is usually produced in late September/early October.
John Lewis Cambridge Drama Group
A drama group largely made up from employees of John Lewis, Cambridge. They have until recently performed annually at the ADC Theatre, usually in May.
Pied Pipers
Pied Pipers is a musical group formed in 1951, producing one major musical a year, typically in early spring.
