A newly devised theatre production They'll Never Believe Me, with an associated heritage project as part of the evening alongside the show, commemorates the centenary of the First World War.

Poetry and songs from the period are interwoven to tell the story from call up and thoughts on leaving home, through life in the trenches to the aftermath of war and peacetime at home.

The audience will be taken on a journey with the soldiers and experiences what life was like for those left behind at home, creating a powerful act of remembrance.
