31st December 1899 - the first ever diesel engine is taking its maiden voyage from Manchester to London. Cold-hearted businessman Montgomery is funding the project, and has made many enemies along the way - many of whom are on this train journey. With stowaways, love triangles and a host of other complications, is this a trip destined for disaster?

A brand-new musical comedy from award winning young composer Ed Zanders and comedy writer Patrick Hallett-Morley and starring current and recent students from Hills Road Sixth Form College, Take the Fast Train combines memorable chorus numbers and larger-than-life characters to create an entertaining, hilarious and truly unforgettable experience!
