Set Painter

Set Painters are a team of people who turn up to assist the Scenic Artist or Set Designer with painting the set. They are not expected to have any knowledge of the requirements of the set design, or the specific details of the theatre that the show is being performed in, and will generally help to paint and decorate set as instructed by those who do have a deeper knowledge of the production's requirements.

The work required here can vary from painting large areas in a single colour, to very detailed and intricate painting.
