We have the luxury of an early start to the get-in, because there is no show in the theatre the week before. The outline of our ideal timetable is:

  • grid shift and lighting rig evening of Friday 20 April (from 7pm)
  • set get-in during the day of Saturday 21 April (from 9am)
  • lighting focus and finish set during the day of Sunday 22 April (from 9am)

The grid shift will involve shifting the house tabs which usually requires several pairs of hands. The set get in involves laying a floor cloth, rigging a sail and painting the forestage.

We will aim to finish early enough on the Friday for a drink or two and hopefully won't need to eat too much into Saturday evening.
